The name of my class is marine biology and we
set out to try and determine whether or not the hot springs produced any
abnormal types of algae. In order to determine this we had to go
to the local rivers/streams and collect algae samples along with measuring
water temperature and water flow. That way when we went to Goddard we would
have some data to compare with. Below are some pics of all the different
types of algae: green, red, and brown.
