Teacher Work and Resources

We at Pacific High School would like to facilitate the free exchange of ideas and resources for teachers, particularly for teachers at Expeditionary Learning Schools, small schools, alternative schools, and schools or classrooms serving students with multiple risk factors. We are starting by publishing some of our work here, and we would like to encourage you to submit your work for publication as well. Right now everything on this site was designed for high school; if there is demand for resources for other grade levels, we can try that out, too.

Most of the resources on this page are Word documents

Rubrics

Please consider having your students write your rubrics, as a class. It is a great way to get students to contribute to and understand the scoring criteria and buy in to the use of the rubric. If you are worried about them setting low standards, don't be- my students have always set their standards at least as high as I would have.
