Summer 2008
Sitka has many wonderful summer traditions, such as pinics at HPR, swimming at Sandy Beach, fishing, Little League baseball or softball, the Fourth of July parade and many other wonderful things. Community Schools also has some fine summer traditions that children and parents look forward to every year. Swimming lessons have been going on for over 25 years, SCORE is in its 15th year, and the summer camps are starting their 8th year. This summer these traditions continue and we hope they meet your summer needs. Please check out our schedules and all our programs and sign up your child as soon as possible. Sign up this year will be done at the Hames Athletic and Wellness Center.
