Sitka Community Schools offers a wide variety of swimming programs in the Blatchley Pool, like swim lessons and summer programs. You can even rent the pool for your own special event! There is also a poolside sauna available during all public swim times. Swim meets, special events and maintenance may cause temporary pool closures. Call the pool (747-5677) for more information. All lessons are grouped according to age and ability. Preschool children must be potty trained to participate.

Fees: $55 per session for Preschool and $60 per session for K & Older. Payment due when child is registered.

50% Scholarships are available through Community Schools but only 1 scholarship for 1 session per child is available.

Sign up early because spots are limited and fill up fast.

Swim Lessons

During the summer swim lessons are offered all day long, for all ages of youth. 

Pool Rental

Blatchley pool is available for rentals. A request form is available in the Community Schools office, however all scheduling is done by the pool manager. For information on pool reservations or costs call the pool at 747-5677 or 966-1446.
